Designer's Hardware Policies, Terms and FAQs

Terms of Sale: All orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Please report shortages, discrepancies or damages to us within 24 hours of receipt of order.
Interior Designers/Trade accounts: Please complete and return our Trade account form, along with a copy of your State Resale Certificate. This may be emailed to sales@designers-hardware.com
Shipping will be charged on all orders. Contact us for oversized shipping/freight charges (any box over 94" in length), which requires common fright carrier. Standard Size orders will ship UPS, standard ground delivery. Call for next or second-day delivery
Returns/Cancellations: We do not accept returns on custom cut poles, or our painted hardware. Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of order placement without a cancellation charge. After that, there will be a 25% cancellation fee. Rush orders cannot be cancelled. Returns will incur a 25% restocking fee. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. Unauthorized returns will be refused, must have an RGA number. Cut yardage is not returnable.
Finishes: Minor variations in color could occur in our handcrafted finishes. Orders should be place complete to minimize color variations.
Installation: Please consult or hire a professional to install our hardware! We recommend a center support for rods over 5' long. Brackets should be screwed into wall studs or use appropriate wall anchors. We will not be liable orĀ  responsible for installation or any costs relating to installation, removal or re-installation.
